Hey there… I am a newbie to all this… although I’ve used simpler programs and this LOOKS like it should be.. I get as far as the outline with the “pen” click on “marquee” and the “layer via copy” option is greyed out… what am I missing???

So just to be clear as to what I might have done wrong… I found the pen, did the super-careful outlining around my subject and then… from there I can’t get it to work….

Hi Marc, I’m the dot in the middle of asia. You have no small amount of talent. Sadly, your tutorials are lost on me, as I was a dumb ass and bought ms digital pro. The missus has been after me to pick up photoshop, as she is used to it. Now all I have to do is find it. Wait a minute, she wants, we live in Mongolia, and she speaks Mongolian. HMm. Someones going shopping.
