I can tell you if I was walking through Barnes and Noble, I would be much more inclined to pick up a book with the cover of the first runner up than the grand prize cover. The first runner up looks more creative, vibrant, and well-designed, which definitely captures what Corona is. I like the idea of the lizard on a rocket (pretty awesome!) but the boring title underneath that takes up half the page pretty much kills it for me.

Tried a few different App IDs, still getting a failed login. I also have “Configured for iOS SSO” checked and “iOS native deep linking” unchecked in the facebook app config.

@Soliman and others: the problem with Facebook app being installed usually occurs as a result of not implementing the last two paragraphs of the Your Facebook app section from the above article.

In short, ensure that in your app’s settings (on the Facebook developer site), that you are using a valid iTunes ID. You can use any valid iTunes ID, just be sure to switch it to yours when your app is ready for production. Or, you can create your app in iTunes Connect and you’ll get an iTunes App ID right away.

The above link shows that the book is expected in May 2012??!!

I checked the same link day before yesterday and it said it was expected February 2012. What’s going on with the release of this book?

Here here on the Android In App Purchasing already. We know IAP is good and is certainly wanted by all Android / cross platform devs.

This article just rubs a little salt into that wound. For both us and ANSCA I presume. I’m quite sure they would love for it to be done already too.

@Miguel: Nice catch, thanks! I fixed it right away… sorry for the confusion there.

@Star Crunch: I’m not sure I follow 100%, but if it seems to be working for you so far, then all should be well. You should submit a “bug report” as a feature request for that system.getFrameID() … be sure to include as many use-cases as possible in your submission, so we can get a really good understanding of how users could benefit from an API like that.

@Guy T: Since ‘Runtime’ is a global object, instead of checking for an enterFrame listener, you could simply call: Runtime:removeEventListener( “enterFrame”, function ) and if there’s not one active, then nothing will happen.

However, keep in mind that you have to know exactly what ‘function’ is, and it must be within scope from wherever you’re calling it.
