Randy watched that and he said it was really funny!

Then again, I married into a family that has a chunk of what they call "mountain folk". I am told I have relatives even my husband can barely understand. I'm told they have their own dialect.
I also cringed certain times when visiting my father in law at his wood-stove heated home in the mountains. I fell in love with his log cabin and chewed on my tongue at the way some things are handled. My city-bred ways are what they are and I didn't want to criticize. :)

People also tend to remember the extremely distressing/embarrassing and extremely pleasant memories. But if they are private or too personal to share, they would be things only she could know.
For bad memories, it could be the day of a really important meeting and just beforehand she uses the bathroom and something happens to affect her undergarments and she spends the whole meeting feeling stressed about it. Maybe she's always hated the look of pigtails, because a school bully wore them. Or the time she found a cigarette and smoked in her woods where no one could see and coughed so hard it ached for 2 days.
Happy memories are like the feeling of total accomplishment the first time she cooked an egg without breaking the yolk or how the smell of her mother cooking bread always made her feel safe. Maybe she's always preferred a certain type of undergarment - like silk or lacey or cotton - not the sort of thing you talk about.
Or what about a private "luck" ritual. Turning her ring three times widdershins or secretly in her head thanking the animal who died for her meal.
