Nice pics! That frozen road looks scray to walk on, at least for me. Not used to seeing roads covered in ice here in southern cal.
New lens and IR remote eh? Christmas gifts?
Let me know how you like them, I may go for the lens myself!

Nope…. The Coriolis force (that makes storms turn counterclockwise in the north and clockwise in the southern hemisphere) only works over long distance and time (weather system are big and develop over many days). The way the water drains in your bathroom simply depends on how your plumbing is constructed….. See for instance

I’m walking across the street today with a green light, and some biker comes barreling through the intersection against the red light and almost kills a woman and while weaving through the pedestrians in the cross walk. The biker was clearly in the wrong, but I guess it’s the nature of the transpo food chain…cars mistreat bikers, bikers mistreat walkers….maybe I’ll cut off someone in a wheelchair or a stroller the next time I’m walking across town.

Well, let’s just say that some beer and food was admired as well this day, although not in Geneva. Problem is afterwards camera handling gets tricky hence no pics are available…….
