I just heard of this today and want to find out more like what time does the event start. How much is the entry fee or is there one? Can one just attend or is a contribution expected?

I have been involved in start ups and have a web design / development background and I am quiet willing to share any knowledge I have but I wouldn't be in a position to give a formal presentation or anything.

thanks

Looking forward to hosting a discussion on running a business for small or micro business owners. There will be a different take on this session, not your usual SYOB stereotype content, so open your mind, come along, and join in the conversation!

Here in Cork we are great at keeping secrets (unless there ones you want to keep - then everyone knows) as a result lots of activities & events are often found out too late by locals and visitors alike. Are there any discussions on the use of technology around travel & tourism to . make regions more accessible and offer a more real engaged experience. There are wonderful things going on around Cork year round, but only the big stuff gets noticed - getting more tourists here = people keep jobs in hotels, restaurants, bars, retail etc. Open to any and all ideas.

I thought last years bar camp was a great networking event and I learnt loads about cloud computing and time management at work. Well worth attending and fair dues to the sponsors for making it a free event. Thanks to Ciara and Gordon and Sabrina and everyone else who is organising it this year.

Competition would be to take the most original photo with you and the sponsors logo. Take it with your phone and email it to one of the competition organisers.

Or write a limerick featuring the sponsors logo.

Hide a balloon under a seat in one of the conference rooms with the sponsors logo written contained in it and whoever finds and bursts the balloon wins the prize.

Last year it was great to see the amount of people who knew each other online, but hadn't met in person.

The sessions were inspiring and so varied from learning about new apps, to online marketing to a very honest account about failure in business and lessons learnt. I am not a techy, but there was lots there to keep me interested for the day.

If you are interested in sponsoring, please do get in touch. As this is a free event, we rely on the support of our generous sponsors.

You will get lots of online plugs and link-love in return!
