I second Margin above. Sometimes the answers - especially if responded to by the other co-founder of DAP- are curt which makes you think twice before doing a follow up.

Support forum needs to be revamped so that I can go back and check my last years thread. As of now unless you bookmark it, there is no way to locate a thread.

I trust above are issues which can easily be resolved.

From the product and features point of view I will give full marks to DAP. There are some great programming minds at work. Aff system is THE BEST, integration with autoresponders, product chaining etc makes things great.

My wishlist for DAP would be:

1) Please please make a better UI for my customers. Even with the latest v3.8 UI for member profiles, product links etc looks so bad. Try embedding those %UserLink% tags in your pages/posts and it just makes the whole things look lame. My blog designer was really pissed off with the design and moreover there is no option to customize it. (if you do, it won't support the future DAP upgrades)

2) Support for coupons in DAP

I have tried in vain to use Suma. It *looks* like a decent product with an impressive feature list, but getting it to work was just too damn difficult.

Essentially there is no user-community around the product, and documentation is thin on the ground - particularly for working examples.

Therefore, the only way to get help is to contact the developer (Brenton Camac) directly. Clearly he is a one-man band and cannot cope, so requests simply go unanswered.

I tried for many months to get the product to work (issues with our PHP installation) and even persevered with customisation, but to no avail. I finally gave up bashing my head against a brick wall and I am in the process of evaluating WishList Member... Having read this review I will also be truing DAP.

I think that is the most important thing, wether you like the iPhone or Android, they are going to push each other and make each other better in the long run. Competition is good, and lets face it, the Palm, Blackberry, and Windows OS's were not doing that. they were all playing catch up and trying to figure out why iPhone's were so good, where as google seems to have figured out a good solution for many.

Ben, maybe if you beat out Fox on viewership eventually and prove the business model, maybe you'll be on CNN! (irony)

If you can truly beat Fox, or even come close to matching their numbers, it will totally dispel the notion that television is still king. I just wish we weren't facing such a drought of NASA-related material.

Relatedly, it would be interesting to get hold of other New Media viewership figures....

DAP customer service can be hit-or-miss, too, regarding responsiveness. I don't ask many questions these days unless I absolutely cannot dig up the answer from other current users because I feel as though I'm bothering them. The product itself is the best around, and the documentation is sufficient but not substantial enough to prevent higher-level functionality questions that they must be swamped with. Despite these issues, I still highly recommend the product above all other member site apps.

Just saw 3.11.
Very well done, production quality was huge and value was great. My only comment is that it seemed CA ended up a bit third-wheely. I remember from my radio show days that its really hard to get that right; it may well just sort itself out.
Audio on SD was peeking; seems like you may have sorted that out in the final seconds of the vidcast.
Are you sending SD and HD from the same place? For the first time in many months (when I wasn't at a hotel), I was rebuffering like crazy on HD. I had to drop to SD.
Is a podcast useful? This might be a personal problem, but I never could get used to podcasts. If I have my eyes free I want to do something with them, and inevitably they start going to webpages and reading. And I can't keep two parallel streams of consciousness going and still get everything out of it I should be.
