Masterminding is a great way for you to gain access to the ideas, knowledge and experience of others.

It seems strange that many people see “being their own boss” as justification for cutting themselves off from others who can make it much easier to succeed in business.

Happy New Year Leslie:
This idea about a retreat has been a dream of mine for sometime and now slowly becoming a realty. We are in the planning stages of building this retreat/BB in Nixon TX on a secluded organic farm setting. It will have 10 cabins and a clubhouse for classes and cafe’. I will keep you updated with current information with this as well. ALso, we will be having a walking labrinth and drumming circle for meditational purposes and clearing of self.

Leslie, you are so right about getting the right people in your Master Mind group. Some people are great while others are looking for a hand out rather than a hand up. Also those who have a list of prepared excuses do more damage than any help you can ever really give them. Have the group take a stand and take action to maitain a group of viable, worthy people.

I graduated 1 year ago with my BAAS degree, and have yet to receive any increase in position, or pay with my current employer. I am 34 years old, married, and have 2 children. I have been with my current employer for more than 11 years, and am making less than $50,000 annualy. I have posted on monster and the responses I have received are not even worth my time to interview. I applied for an internal posting, but have not received an interview as of yet. I am ready to move on, but cannot afford to take a pay cut at this point. I have a new boss who I am learning volumes from. This alone is worth staying for, however, I need to increase my earning power.

Any suggestions?

I really like the following item:
1.Identify three things that would help you feel that you have truly celebrated this holiday season.
2.Make a list of ten highlights of this year, both personal and professional.
3.Celebrate the end of the year in some way.

All to often we forget to celebrate our successes. We tend to focus on what we didn’t get done or things we need to do. Take time to reflect. Focus on our accomplishments. If we focus on good thoughts, it helps to prepare us for the blessing that will come our way in the coming year. Good luck to you and a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!

I love this Success Tip….what could be better for us all than to recharge ourselves! I’m constantly telling my clients to “take time for themselves”…it will help us be better at our business, better with our relationships and help increase our level of health and wellbeing! I have all sorts of ways to relax and unwind, but some of my favorites are: reading a special novel; taking a bubble bath; preparing a wonderfully scruptuous meal; watching a great movie; bird and nature watching and stargazing!

I’m happy that you’re offering your teleclass again on Great Ways to Get More Clients! I was able to participate in your prior teleclass and it was FABULOUS. I have already implemented some suggestions you made. Thanks for all your great coaching advice! Hope you and Joe have a great relaxing weekend!
