I’m always amazed when I hear these types of stories because anyone who does debt collection work knows not to do those kinds of things, but I’m not surprised after seeing a television news report (maybe Dateline?) that showed undercover video of a collection place doing the same thing — threatening criminal actions against people and collectors pretending that they were law enforcement officers.

Gosh, this guy has them where it counts.

The flash video explains the current money crisis as well as anything out there that I’ve seen in a way that is easy to comprehend. There’s also a “This American Life” episode the does the same thing in audio form that is worth a listen as well.

And I do solemnly swear by Almighty God that George W. Bush committed other hate crimes of epic proportions and with the stench of terrorism which I am not at liberty to mention.

Many people know what Bush did.

And many people will know what Bush did—even to the end of the world.

Bush was absolute evil.

Bush is now like a fugitive from justice.

Bush is a psychological prisoner.

Bush has a lot to worry about.

Bush can technically be prosecuted for hate crimes at any time.

In any case, Bush will go down in history in infamy.

I am not sure where I had read it before, but anyway, it is a linguistically excellent statement, and it goes kind of like this: “If only it were possible to ban invention that bottled up memories so they never got stale and faded.” Oh wait—off the top of my head—I think the quotation came from my Lower Merion High School yearbook.

I’m going to have to interview some people about how they use Twitter and other social media and make a series of audio posts about it. That’s the kind of stuff that that people love to listen to on Vocalo.

Since the pieces have to be short to fit into the station’s format, I can focus on one person for each segment and you can be the first, if you want.
