I understand what you are saying about easy believism. We can't just simply walk an aisle, sign a piece of paper and that being the sole evidence of our salvation. Nor is Jesus waiting and begging for us to accept Him. He is the one that stirs our hearts to come to Him in the first place. It is only when we show that salvation to be real through the evidence of obiediance and love for the Lord in our lives that we show we are saved.

I cannot judge people's hearts, but I can say that preachers too often sugarcoat "coming to Jesus" without sharing the reality of what it means to live an obiediant Christian life.

I appreciate the attempt but you lost me on the first answer as you didn't bring out what Paul says about homosexuality in Romans 1: that it is an expression of the suppression of the truth coming from a rejection of God. Paul says that it is something so obviously wrong that anyone looking honestly at nature should know that it is wrong but they don't because they suppress the truth.
