Prince Poppycock is a fun pop entertainer with a nice pop/musical theater voice (no, it’s not an operatic voice, he’d not even be heard in an opera theater), and a good Vegas act.

But a lot of his performance is due to the costume – which is a kind of a fun costume but one that has absolutely nothing to do with what he is singing about or the character, rather than actual artistry. Try listening to some of the real opera singers – Pavarotti, Domingo, but also today’s opera signers: Piotr Beczala, Roberto Alagna, Ramon Vargas, Jonas Kaufmann, Juan-Diego Florez, etc. singing “La donna e mobile”. Then listen to Prince Poppycock, but close your eyes. Does his singing alone sound that expressive to you?

Carlos has simply a better voice. He isn’t nearly as great as people think compared to real opera singers, but he has potential. He is also better than say Neal Boyd who won season 3 or Paul Potts. So he could’ve gone far on this show if given a chance.

Alex, you disgrace me by having the same name and saying something ignorant like that, if you remember the first game left the story kinda open for the expansion and the missions for all 3 races were short. Drawing out a good story and being detailed is much better then just pushing soemthign out half finished. Yes no LAN is kinda fail because that was one of the things i loved about SC1 but its not Inconceivable that blizz might have a lan patch for one of the later versions comming out. Yes this review was sorry and if it was just a phone in, just say is was. give it a week of playing before you take and review to heart.

reviewing a game is a responsibility only a realistic, honest and true gamer should have as a job. a review can make or break a development company whether it’s large or small. it should be objective and the verdict should be general and personal-crap free. 6/10 with such poor excuses neglecting the game’s true strength is irresponsible. you should reconsider if you have the courage.

You actually get to play as the Protoss for a string of missions. You’d learn this if you actually played through the entire game before you reviewed it.

Okay cmr, please listen.

Putting all three installments into one doesn’t make sense. Clearly, Blizzard has a lot more content planned, including new units, new strategies, definitely updated graphics and performance (next two installments will probably take 5+ years), and developed story.

There are 26 campaign missions, which is huge, and you cannot say the game hasn’t been enhanced from its core gameplay. This is a 60 dollar game, no question. Did I mention the online aspect, which as you have seen in SC1, has the potential to go on… for over a decade?

And think of how much effort, money, planning, beta, etc. has gone into the game. On what grounds is this game a 6/10? Think of other games that have been rated six. Now look at THIS game, and tell me how it deserves such a score.

No LAN? Look at how many other games don’t have LAN. As you know, piracy is a major problem in the world. It doesn’t take rocket science to figure out why they removed this. At the end of the day, gaming is still a business.

The truth is that SC1 was an epic and a landmark. Blizzard has stayed true, kept the core gameplay the same like it’s supposed to be, given it potential to try some crazy new strategies (online is going to get hardcore), and they did. not. let. us. down.

This game atleast deserves a 9. But numbers are BS anyway. Please reconsider what you bought for 60 bucks. I strongly urge you to look at the other crap in the market for the same price.

It was a long wait but it was worth it. Just you see.
