This is a rather late comment but thank you for appreciating Storm! She is a very fine lady, and there was just something about how she was drawn back in the 70's that was incredibly hot. And I agree about her being more awesome for not putting up with horny dudes.

I haven’t been following very closely but, Scrulls are shape shifters who can heal from practically anything. With the exception of Super Scrull I thought they didn’t have any other powers.

I think Mystique is a Scrull, she can shape shift, and she has been on the edge of death a bunch of times.

Also I could go with Deadpool being a Scrull too, I mean he has a healing factor and would any one notice if he started acting abnormally?

Sigh...so far the revelations are as lame as DC's Millennium event 2 decades ago. Nobody major, and when they are revealed it turns out that they were replaced 5 minutes ago (like Dugan).

Nice list! i totally agree with Wolverine's and Batman's costumes! My list would be in no paricular order:

-Wolverine brown and gold
-Batman black and gray
-Spidey (both classic red +bleue and symbiote)
-Taskmaster (UDON) not technically a hero but what the heck!
-Darevil - totally agree with your post. i have that issue and i say, "What was Wizard thinking?"
-moon knight
-Black Panther (w/mini cape + claws)- again simple but cool. the mix of black and hints of gold is sick! and who can forget hisears!
-nightwing (black and blue)
-punisher
-Green lantern (hal jordan) So classic but noble. It suggests power and speed and the coolest lookign superhero who can fly that doesn't have a cape IMO.

Honorable mentions for me would be Captain America - although most may say cheesey and over patriotic i think it has great classical meaning and it suits him.
Superman- same reason as Cap
Green Arrow (hood)
Ironman - would have been on my list btu he changed armour every series hehe
Deadpool - although a Spidey knock off his look makes sense with his twisted sense of humour
flash- oen of the coolest emblem ever!

I liked the creepy, pseudo-sexy way McFarlane drew Mary Jane in the early nineties. Big hair, shoulder pads, hoop earrings... and side-boob! The man found a way to put side-boob in every issue.
