Fay,
Great writing. I love how you describe your house when you arrive home. I feel that too especially if all the boys are home. Part of my heart is in Chapel Hill. UNC holds so many memories for me, husband and now for two of my sons. It is great sharing those memories with them.

Again, thanks for all you have done to help the families of New Orleans. If I were able to go I would, but it is not possible at this time. Next trip you take, call me and I will see if I can meet you there.

Love,
Cindy

Thanks Cindy! If you know of any college students who would like to work in the New Orleans area, I can put you in touch with our contact in the diocese. They disparately want young men and women who can stay the summer, train to be crew chiefs and lead volunteer crews. I can't imagine a more rewarding experience.

Comment on Do They Still Have Summer? by Cindy

Fay,
I understand what you mean. Unlike you I have the luxury of not working during the summer since I am a teacher. The summers fly by and before you know it school starts again. I plan on doing some gardening and my main goal this summer is to get rid of all the clutter in my life so I can enjoy the summer much more. I do try to go to the pool everyday to get my exercise in while enjoying the sunshine at the same time.

When you are at work do you ever eat your lunch outside? If you are able to do that then you could enjoy some time outside in the garden.

Thanks for all your hard work in New Orleans. You are a blessing.

Love,
Cindy
