These cards typically have high fees and if they don't report to the credit bureaus then they will do nothing to help you improve your credit file or credit score. If you can't find a prepaid credit card that reports to the credit bureaus, then you are probably better of just using a debit card that is linked to your checking account since the fees will be much lower.
