Floyd,
I am one of the Training Co-Chairs for Indian Trail Chapter of Texas Master Naturalist program. We are looking for an archeologist to talk to the class in May. We serve Ellis & Navarro Counties but I liked the pieces I have found in DFW and Me that you have written. Is this something you do or would consider doing? We generally allot 1 1/2 to 2 hours for a presentation including question and answers. We meet in Waxahachie. Please let me know at your earliest convenience and I will be happy to provide more details.

Moxley Manor is open from September 16 - October 31, 2011! We are centrally located in the heart of the Dallas / Ft. Worth Metroplex. Last year our haunted house was voted 4 out 5 “Pee your pants scary!” and this year is even more terrifying! For more details or to purchase tickets for Moxley Manor Haunted House, visit http://moxleymanor.com.

Thanks for the comments and the photos. I was telling my wife about the resident alligator snapping turtle that I remembered from my youth and I just had to try to track down some info as I hadn't thought of the aquarium for years. Now we have a weekend destination soon!
