Oh, there is still plenty of stuff, but I have to get a dumpster to get rid of a shed-load of things I don’t need. It’s amazing how much stuff just accumulates. Thanks, Steve.

Great job Diane an staging the house! Where did all the stuff go? Also, great video, really sells the sizzle! It’ll be closing a chapter of your life to sell the house and beginning a new one! I’m glad for you and wish you the best of luck selling it! I’ll have to send you a little statue of St.Joseph to bury in the front garden to help you!

An open house post with real data. How refreshing! Congrats on the success. I think real success (as defined by selling THE house held open) varies greatly by location. Here in Phoenix, they just don’t seem to work well. Maybe ’cause it’s like 900 degrees outside and people just don’t visit open houses…

Lot is unimproved, though sewer, water hookups have been installed. Driveway plan is designed. Sloping lot.

A valuation would be appreciated.

So, yesterday, I was following #agentrb on twitter and caught one of your tweets, which led me to your card.ly, checked out your Google profile (hey, I don’t have one of those) and found your article above. Can you tell that I like to chase bright shiny objects? ;D

Without a doubt, of your posts I’ve read, this is one of your best. I believe that the thoughts you’ve shared strike a common chord with many of us. There aren’t many willing to share these types of deep thoughts in such a public way, and I want to thank you for doing so.

I’ve found that the great thing about getting older is that we’re better able to focus on what’s really important, and we’ve either learned to or have become more aware that we control our beliefs. I heard a quote the other day, “The brain believes what you tell it the most, whether you believe it or not.” It reminded me of the importance of self talk, and our incredible ability to program the mind to achieve that which is most important to us … the things that evoke our deepest emotions.

BTW, I would love to see the size of the Dixie cup you’re referring to, because most of us view it as a trough.

Diane, I really am impressed with your work. One of these days, you have to share your daily routine/schedule, so that the rest of us can figure out how you’re able to appear to be in so many places/posts so often.

Thank you for doing what you do …

I think of this much lately as my uncle is very sick, most likely terminal and it’s the anniversary of my brother in law’s death to suicide…if today was my last I would be sure to say I LOVE YOU to all my great friends and family…we should say it more any way and this thing that people say that the LOVE word is overused is beyond my comprehension…thanks so much Diane for sharing this..I LOVE YOU and this song is one of my faves…

CS Lewis spoke about the cyclical nature of life, and that in spite of it we are always surprised by cycles. Everyone feels like an idiot in an economic crunch, and a genius in times of plenty. I think that’s what quotes like this (and a sense of humor) do – they help keep the emotion out of reacting to cycles, and keep me focused on what I need to do. :)
