I got my H1 visa last week and now my husband has his interview for H4 scheduled Next week.

My husband did his higher studies in US in biochem and worked on h1b now after 6 years on h1b, since past 3years he is on h4 and at home. This is totally a downer for him and he wants to go back to India where he has the dignity to work for a job. I have a good job here but by the time we get ead thru my green card it may be another 5yrs at least. So in order to salvage my marriage I will have to quit job and now at age 40 with kids and half our known life here we have to go back and start all over. Could this h4 visa holder not allowed to work be anymore of a curse !!!!! It is easier for Indian wife being on H4 and staying at home sacrificing for family and children but what if husband is the one on h4 visa ?
My husband did his higher studies in US in biochem and worked on h1b now after 6 years on h1b, since past 3years he is on h4 and at home.
