In reply to Nancy. Nancy - Walt Disney World limits fastpass reservations to one park per day, so your initial three fastpasses must be in Hollywood Studios. Once you use the initial three, you can then get extra in Animal Kingdom once you are in the parks.

Great article. We are planning on park hopping. Hollywood Studios in the morning and Animal Kingdom in the afternoon. I am going to try to get a FP+ for flight of passage. So, do I apply the same technique you are suggesting for the morning? Only book 2 fast passes?

In reply to Tracy. Tracy- You are limited to three Fastpasses when you plan initially. You can get additional ones, but not until all three are used. So, if your third Fastpass is not until late at night, you not be able to schedule a fourth until you finish your last ride, and by that point around Thanksgiving, it is very likely that everything will be gone for the day.

I could only get an evening FP for Flight of Passage? Thrilled but that limits my getting additional FP’s? Right? My trip is 30 days away. I plan to watch, modify & adjust on the day of but I have a party of 6 over thanksgiving crowds so I’m not expecting more options. And I don’t want to be on my phone the entire day…I was wondering if we should try to wait it out in the very start of the day and then modify the evening one for something earlier so we can take advantage of additional fast passes. Any advise how to approach the itinerary for the day?
