Thanks so much for this review! I've been mentoring a lot of my mentors on how to Twitter and this book looks really helpful for those most comfortable with book learning.

Dear Dr Shock
Your comment on 2 February 2011 regarding the abolition of the lottery system in Medical School Selection criteria.

Can you kindly confirm that this is so and advise the reason for the discontinuance, please.

I need it for some research.\
Many thanks
Guenevere Burke

The given cartoons are not the greatest examples, considering that with the shark in the snow at least makes SOME sense that the skiers are skiing away from the danger. Yes, it is nonsensical that a shark would be in the snow, but it is not a complete non sequitur.

The humor of Monty Python is often just plain being whimsical or doing weird things. Those of us who do not find it funny can be just as much "experience seekers" as those who DO find it funny. It's just that I would like my humor to at least make an attempt at making some sort of sense. If I run up to you and make a funny face and run away, that might make you laugh, but it isn't humor. Humor involves more thought than that.

Great to see Dutch psychiatrists are taking up Twitter!

A number of hashtags (keywords used to organize Twitter discussions, starting with #) that may be interesting to psychiatrists:

#mentalhealth
#psychiatry
#mhsm (mental health social media)
#hcsm (healthcare social media)

You can search & click on these keywords in Twitter, it will lead you to interesting discussions and people to follow. Other hashtags can be found on http://bit.ly/abfLWZ and on http://bit.ly/HDxlIX
