Thanks so much, koe. I’m glad you like it. Things are looking up here, weather-wise, too. We’re into the 50’s and 60’s, but will have rain for the next few days. I haven’t seen crocus here yet, but they’re coming soon. And I see your post title, “Wooden Ships” and am thinking CS&N…

Thanks, Jennifer. I wish it coulda been more of a story…I just didn’t remember much more.

I understand what you mean about those objects of lost loved ones. I also have my father’s coffee cup and his house key. And I have one of his heavy denim shirts (he was always cold) that still smells like him. It’s a strange feeling to breathe one’s scent who’s no longer with us…

Ha! My mother, grandmother and great grandmother are/were quilters and sewers. And my grandfather was a farmer, so there were always plenty of feed sacks. And i had to wear sumthin’!

That crease is compliments of the crumpled bag and my lack of care. I noticed it, too, and wondered if anyone would mention it…
