Is this in relation to actual search engine position or local results? If you have lost position on local results it could be for the same reason web designers have.

If youve lost organic positioning then you may have to look at your website for the answers. Make sure you are doing all the SEO basics right and concentrate on building some quality links. Also keep your content fresh by having a blog; post articles, videos and photos.

I believe that certain work sectors are being targeted with a new algorithm – in my case…artists. My site which was forever on page 1, has basically disappeared in favor of other artists. Yes there is a lack of documentation, and a lack of community structure. However I think steps are being made to change this. There are definitely improvements to be made but atleast the community starts from a good base…the software.

I still stand by it as the best open source shopping cart system and the easiest for designers and coders to get to grips with. Its also the easiest for complete noobs with no design or programming skills to sell straight out the box.

Im glad you like OC though and are supporting it. I think we all have to lend Daniel a hand as after all he is just one guy and cant do everything. So perhaps we should write the documentation for him.

The forums are sparsely populated anyway and it just goes to show their commitment to the project when they ban people from the forums.

Like you said its too buggy and needs to much work done on the front end to make it look good, plus the admin is not logical and clunky!

If you are looking for a good script get ikiclassifieds. The support is OK a bit slow but they do help you!! Also you shouldnt need them as much. They also install for free so no worries there. Plus the software looks great out the box and you can change the styles etc from the admin.

I bet you didnt get a refund either did you Anna? I have to say its bad business practise doing that because this review is on page 1 of Google and must be costing Steve a lot of sales.

I take it you have done all the usual checks. You have stored your email in the admin screen correctly, and you have checked your junk mail folder etc.

Unfortunately its practically impossible for me to help you as I cant see your site admin or the files on your server. You should contact ikiclassifieds support and start a new ticket.

My form works fins so I can only imagine that you have a setting not right somewhere or your missing a few files on your server.
