Wow! You just told everyone to shove-off, in a nice way, from asking for free photographs. In that case, how much are you charging for a sitting fee? Do you guarantee a certain number of approved prints per a sitting? How much are you charging for individual prints? What are your print sizes? Are they prints from 35mm or digital? Are they signed and/or numbered? Do they come with mattes? framed?

Check out Jack Robinson. He is my absolute favorite, he started out in New Orleans and ended up in Memphis. ;) He is well known for his portraits and although he is deceased, I learned the best piece of advice from him. No matter how ugly your subject is, it is your job to make them beautiful. You do that through lighting. You can make anyone beautiful in the right lighting. You can also experiment with your lens, using filters.

Would you consider an artist's exchange? Print for a print?

As long as you have the Quest AD Cmdlets installed you can do the same in a simple one-liner using Powershell:

get-qadcomputer -IncludeAllProperties | Where-Object { $_.lastlogon -lt (get-date).AddDays(-90) }

Quest AD Cmdlets are free to download from http://www.quest.com/powershell/activeroles-server.aspx

Dad isn't coming home today - something went wrong with his leg where they entered his leg to check out his arteries. They are hoping it will go down overnight, but for now he's on nice pain medication and should get a good night sleep.

Bah - that makes it too easy...

Honestly I didn't even think about doing it in a shell script, and it was so long ago I don't remember the initial thoughts.

To be honest, I'd do this as shell script, instead:

#!/bin/sh

tar zcvf /var/backup/Elmwood-`/bin/date +'%Y%m%d'`.tar.gz /home
rm /var/backup/Elmwood-`/bin/date -d '1 month ago' +'%Y%m%d'`.tar.gz

I've thought about making bash the default and it would be really easy, however I'm of the opinion that I want to become familiar with the system as it's meant to be. A lot of the scripts that I find for AIX are written in Korn so why not at least try and become familiar with it and learn something new.

Honestly the thing I miss the most about bash are the tab completions and command history.
