The Capra Review is seeking work for its Spring issue. If your stories, essays, or photographs carry secrets, obsessions, or quiet risks, don’t keep them hidden. We seek work that lingers, that makes readers lean in, that unfolds in unexpected ways. Fiction, nonfiction, art, documentary photography—if it surprises, unsettles, or captivates, we want to see it. Submissions are rolling, but the Spring issue is coming fast. https://www.thecaprareview.com

ANTAE is a creative writing journal based in the English Department at the University of Malta.

While the journal operated as an academic one between 2014 and 2020, we're excited to announce that it's now been relaunched as a journal solely interested in publishing creative writing endeavours. There are no limitations on what interested writers are able to submit, so long as it is work of high quality and in English. You can read more about the journal, access our past issues, and view our submission processes over at www.um.edu.mt/antae.

The journal will remain free and open-access (with neither submission fees nor readers' fees) as well as international, and so kindly help us spread the word with any creative writers you may know, whether students, colleagues, university staff, or the general public.

Should you have any further questions, do of course get in touch!

F(r)iction is a triannual publication that boasts work from both industry legends and emerging writers. Each issue is carefully curated to evaluate an important cultural topic from vastly different perspectives. We accept short fiction, creative nonfiction, flash fiction, comics, and poetry submissions all year round, and also host contests featuring guest judges and cash prizes twice a year (each spring and fall). Every piece published in F(r)iction is also accompanied by custom artwork, making our journal a visual odyssey from cover to cover!
