I hate to denigrate your hard work here, but maybe consider - there is some contingent of professionals who “Just Say No” to Excel (and Office) 2007. Its interface is devastatingly unproductive compared to prior versions, which were fixed though they were unbroken. Devastatingly.

There’s some belief that Microsoft will “do the right thing” and resume the prior interface. Meanwhile, I and others “Just Say No.”

I want a formula that will do the following.

a = +1
B = -1

to add to an existing total and displaying the sum in the same row as the entered text

1312 (existing total)
a 1313 (new total)
b 1312 (new total)
b 1311 (new total)
a 1312 (new total)

and so on..

You could try this formula:

IF(D7=”PLAT”,G7*0.12,IF(D7=”Gold”,G7*0.1,IF(D7=”Silver”,G7*0.07,IF(D7=”Accum5″,G7*0.8,G7*0.08))))

I am wanting to do a formula with 4 factors and need help. I have a two step formula down pat (see below) but need help to add multiple factors
If D7= PLAT, then G7 x .12, otherwise then G7 x .08 is “=IF(D7=”PLAT”,G7*0.12,G7*0.08)”

How do I add a third and fourth one?
If Gold, then G7 x .10
If Silver, then G7 x .07
If Accum5, then G7 x .8
