-They have freedom of expression. They do not have to be sympathetic to the victims. They have the right to be clever at the expense of their good taste.
-The families of the victims would had never found out about it if it wasn't on the news. Why are we giving this attention?
-Thousands of people are murdered every year. 32 at VT is horrible but the only reason people care(d) is because it was to dramatized.
-Im going as a Haitian with a cinder block in my head next Halloween. 200,000 dead compared to 32....I'll be on every news channel.

These are truly examples of insensitive and distasteful use of freedom of expression. However, I am equally concerned about the suggestions of violent acts such as “beating” those who were involved. It is obvious the freedom which allowed such disgusting and insensitive expression is a double edge sword. Violence is not the answer.

The fact that the 2 people attended Penn State does not mean they represent Penn State - Penn State does not and cannot hold responsibility for individual student behavior.

I am expecting a call from a Representative from Coastal Credit Solutions in about 1 1/2 hours. I thought I would check this company out before doing business with them. I checked with the San Diego BBB and they have an A+ rating and only 3 complaints in the last 36 months. They all were closed as "Resolved". Either the "Scammed" people are not reporting it to the BBB or this Blog has them all. Since blogs are a "watering hole" for most honest people, I think I will pass on doing business with Coastal Credit Solutions or Debtwave. Thanks for the heads-up. I wish every one would do their homework.

This looks like Google trends. Is this the top terms for the past year 2009? Searching for "scarecrow of oz" shows a spike in searches every October.

I just got pawned off to this company from Costal Credit Solutions.

Apparently Debtwave and Costal Credit Solutions swap their clients back and forth. They explain the terms over the phone before sending you off to the other company. This is only to distract and confuse the consumer. The consumer receives a bucket of dis-information. This is to hide the fact that they are not really non-profit. Whatever your monthly payment is they will charge you that amount for your first month. Your creditors will receive nothing. In addition, Debtwave will charge you a monthly fee of over 50 dollars.

So if your monthly payment is going to be 500 dollars, they get 500 bucks themselves for the first month in addition to the 50 dollars monthly fee. So if your monthly payment is 50 bucks or 1000 bucks, Debtwave keeps that payment for "drafting a proposal" to your creditors. Your first month theft from them is "non-refundable".

Basically, Coastal Credit Solutions and Debtwave are owned by The Johnson Law Group. These two entities swap the consumers back and forth each claiming they don't handle the accounts directly before pawning you off. Each appears that it is simply the finder not the provider. But what is really going on is a shell game by The Johnson Law Group. This is NOT non-profit. They are making tons of money.

If you already have an agreement with them, you will not get any money back. They keep it all. And they will threaten you if you attempt to withdraw from the program.

oh please, its just a bit of fun, and actually a very cool idea (whish i had thought of it), the more serious question is why was the gun man able to get a gun? yet for some reason the constitution is sacred, if we made it much much harder to get guns this problem would be solved, the fact that guns are still available is the tragedy not some kinds having fun
