		<description>Well, if you're like the overwhelming majority of ad-supported bloggers and "new content" sites, you're a Google AdSense publisher and impressions don't mean a thing, so users that block them aren't costing you a dime -- assuming they had no intention of actually clicking on them.

I for one have only ever clicked a Google ad accidentally and I doubt that my occasional accident is really adding to that publisher's bottom line.  So, for someone like me who would never intentionally click on one of those Google ads, removing them makes the website a more pleasant experience for me and makes me  more likely to link to them or otherwise help increase their site's traffic - something that could add significantly to that publisher's bottom line.

Nothing is so cut and dried as we'd like :-)
