I’m glad you liked the casserole. I highly recommend the Casserole Queens book. There are other whimsical recipes like this, but there are also some really good, healthy recipes that you can make often.

This was really good.

I had the spam in the cupboard on some whim. Then I read the cookbook previews and wanted to try out the spam recipe. When I was assembling the casserole it really didn’t look very attractive going in or coming out of the oven. But it was really nice comfort food that, due to the fat and salt contest, you really wouldn’t want to have too often.

1. I’m glad that talked about head lice and not the other end. 2. I think it’s time to turn off the ads, tighten the budget, and try to live without that extra $2 a month.

Iris is pretty much the only place I drink. The Cove on Broad gets high praise. Were you still here when it opened?

Memphis could use a decent cocktail bar–Restaurant Iris makes its handful of selections remarkably well, but it’s got a pretty limited selection.

Also, the ads at the bottom of your page are for head lice remedies. Is there something you’re not telling us?
