I agree whole"herdedly"!!! Small family farms are facing so many challenges these days to stay in business that the people who actually answer the call and try to make it work deserve parades in their honor. So sad.

I searched the net for a recipe a few months back for what to do with leftover nachos. I make nachos all the time for my kids, that's their favorite meal. Or was. Once I found this recipe for chilaquiles, they refuse to eat nachos because they love this recipe so much. I make nachos, then the next night bake chilaquiles for the kids. Thanks for posting this!!!

Sheesh, can't I just sign a waiver that I won't hold the county, city, market, farmer, etc. liable for the huge risk the Health Dept. thinks I'll be taking by sampling a bite of homegrown food, the way Nature intended it?
I'd give a Health Dept. inspector a coronary if they were to the see the things I do when I roam thru my container garden here in Midtown! Sometimes I just can't resist popping that perfect cherry tomato straight into my mouth... (well, I give it a little wipe on my shirt, first, LOL) If that was deadly, I'd be long gone.
Let me know who you're writing letters to - I'll be glad to write some, too!

Dear Paul and Angela, this tomatillow consomme adaptation looks incredible. I also found the dinner you made over christmas in your previous post to be so decadent! I felt like I had stepped into Gourmet Magazine. It was so well presented, clean, photos clear and professionally positioned. I shall return for another bite of this wonderful blog. Thank you for sharing.
Cheers, Gaby

Amen to that! One of the roles of the government is fairness, but if it favors the establishment, that is unfair. Another duty of government should be to promote commerce including microbusinesses. IT DOES NOT DO THAT. He should be able to sell hotdogs prepared in front of you below some cap on volume.
