There are a few examples of how other people have mounted them in the article. And I just added a link to the video where Ben showed how he mounted Pacifica seats. That link is in the Minivan seats section. :)

Personally I'm running a pair of X2 power group 24 batteries from Batteries Plus. Manufacturer is Northstar, on of the best manufacturers in North America. https://web.archive.org/web/20220811232635/https://www.batteriesplus.com/productdetails/sli24agmdp

They come with a full 5 year free replacement warranty (not a prorated one) and have higher specs than the Optima Red Top 34 series you posted, having 840CCA, 77AH capacity, and 160 minute reserve capacity. Price is around $300. They are also tall enough that they don't need any type of holder or tray in order to secure them.

You can buy the same battery from NorthStar for the same price, but it will only come with a 4 year warranty instead of 5 (also not sure if it would still come with a blue top)

One other thing that's different about them, the terminals are brass instead of lead.

These are what I'm running in my rig.

I also like guns that perform as they are supposed to. That is one reason I am not a BCA fan. I don't trust their products to work when needed.
BCA is too hit or miss in terms of producing quality products. They have made a lot of quality guns and parts. But they also let a lot more crap get shipped to customers than I think they should.

I have purchased three BCA uppers and they all perform GREAT, they shoot!
6.5 Grendel ,450 Bushmaster and 458 SOCOM.
If I were to pay $1500 for a weapon , I would expect a $1500 weapon and I never label a weapon as budget , that's the first mistake,
I have a GLOCK 19 Gen 5 that I had to replace the barrel on after only 100 rounds , so what does that say about quality control.
I understand some people like nice looking weapons , I like weapons that perform when I need them to.

Mike, thanks for a very to-the-point review.
I just purchased my EP9 online yesterday, and I'm looking forward to receiving it soon.

Wanted to comment that I believe Extar has largely resolved the availability issue. I've been considering my purchase for three weeks, and, in that time, it's only been listed as 'unavailable' for two, 2-day periods.

I'll be keen to see about the heat issue, as it is mentioned regularly in reviews.

Thanks again!

Hello, thank you for your feedback. I am so sorry this happen. I reviewed your order/shipping details and see that your tracking indicates the package was delivered to the address provided at checkout. I understand that your camera\'s do not show the carrier dropoff, however, it is common for carriers to mark a package delivered 1-2 days early. Unfortunately, we would need to allow them the additional days to drop off the package. If they do not, we will/would open a claim (package trace), and take the necessary steps to resolve the delivery issue, up to and including, reshipping the order using an upgraded shipping method. Again, we thank you for your feedback. Per your last email request, we have refunded you for the order.

I bought this PULSAR 1x20 also bought by my friends!
Everyone is absolutely satisfied. A quality device, not expensive and good to see. We use additional IR- (850nm). We all put a DOS adapter on the rifles and that's how we use it. It is important that the optics be adjusted (preferably) 1.5 to 6x not larger than that. Everyone needs to know this! I use (2.5-10x56) Ideal Pulsar device, we have been using it for a long time...
    My recommendations!

Thanks for the question. I don't know how they measured the 27". I just got out the tape measure and it looks like 26.75 inches from the muzzle to the aft of the stock pivot. I wonder if they are measuring with slightly different muzzle devices in place, or measuring a bit more diagonally.
I appreciate the reminder that I never updated to reflect the outcome of the trigger work or to wrap up the review. I'm adding this pot to the editing queue to fill in some blanks and make it a full review.

Was looking at this older article. Do you know how the VZ-2008 was measured to come out at 27". I have measured it as closely to exactly 26" as I can tell with my naked eye and tape measure. Some claim it is shorter than that.
Thank you
ps How did the trigger come out in the end, or do you have a followup article on it?

I suggest that the price of these used exercised machines is whatever the buyer and seller agree on.
For the new Soloflex Muscle Machines, it is whatever the brand chooses to charge. :)

Thanks for the feedback and ideas. I've flown a few fabric covered aircraft. I was skeptical of the durability at first, but decades of performance history prove that this method works well... in aircraft, at least.

Great write-up! This has been a classic mod that I think most people have forgotten can be done and for very, very little cost and few special skills. For your cracks and breaks, might I suggest some JB Weld? That way, you at least have a good epoxy bond that's not entirely relying on a zip tie that will rot and crack eventually, plus you can use it to plug the holes where the tubing is cut. No welding experience required!

As well, another idea for a door covering is aircraft canvas. This requires the canvas, some cutting tools, a special adhesive, a primer/activator chemical, and a heat gun to install. Basically, you cut out a good fit with adequate overlap to allow for the canvas to wrap around the perimeter of the frame. Then at these points, you apply the adhesive and wrap the canvas around the steel bars. Stretch the canvas reasonably tight into place by hand, clamp it in place, and allow it to dry. Once fully cured, you spray the activator over the entire canvas and then evenly run a heat gun across the surface of the fabric-watch as it slowly tightens up like a drum and gives you professional-looking doors. You can then spray the doors to match the paint scheme of your HMMWV. I used this method back in high school to provide an ultralight body skin to what's effectively a high mileage go-kart.

Thanks for the warning.
I suggest that every reader decide for themselves what is safe.
My thought is that this product is not labeled for this use only because of the concentration. This is incredibly easy to rectify via dilution. Bringing it to safe levels.

This article is saying to use a pesticide to soak your clothing and gear in and this particular pesticide is not labeled to do so. I was in the pest control industry for 10 years and learned the only way to safely use a pesticide is by only using it the ways the label says it can be used. If you email the companies that produce these pesticides they will tell you that the pesticides should not be used anyway that the label does not say it can be used. This may be a safety issue for some people

For anyone thinking of doing it like Steve suggested, I think it is a great alternative to the Philmont method. However,if each meal pair split the food by having one rehydrate in the bowl, the other use the bag the food came in, then you have 1/2 the bowls to clean and 1/2 the amount of stuff going in the sump during cleanup.
