My grandfather was one of the previous owners of the Mill – I practically grew up there and later worked at the cafes inside. I’m glad the new owners haven’t changed too much structurally about the place – it has a lot of great charm.

My wife and I drove up for dinner, it was great as usuall. The service, senery also was great as well. On the way out we watched a couple getting married out side. It was special!We are going back for October fest ( October 11,09 )

I know doc steffe opens the mansion up to a tour every once ina while I haven’t been inthe mansion for years and was wondering if anyone knew when he might be touring it again? My dad drilled all of his gas wells on the property for the gas lights and so forth.

My father was originally from Emlenton, and I was thrilled on a recent visit to the Emlenton street festival to discover Perry’s ice cream in the wonderful old mill! You MUST try the White Lightening flavor . . .
