There are so many models and brands from which to choose and you shouldn’t have to pay much more the $300 – $400 for a “starter” set. Usually a place like Dick’s or your local course should have complete sets, including a bag, for around this. Slazenger is a decent set that can get you going. Another option is Costco (or similar), they as well carry Nicklaus brand, another lower cost beginner set. As you progess and get better, you will want to be fit properly for your swing.
