Got married 2009 and also got separated in 2018. never got pregnant all through my stay with my Ex and he constantly blamed me till we got to the hospital and confirmed male infertility. i also had fibroids and different results for my tubes, sometimes result reading patent, sometimes partial blockage. i did the fibroid surgery in 2015 and went ahead with IVF which failed. Did another in 2016 which was cancelled due to my Ex unavailability.

got into a relationship in 2018, and we started trying for a baby few months ago. kindly note i believed i could only get pregnant via IVF only. Lo and behold i got a BFP sometimes in October which was a surprise. At 8wks 5days, went for a scan and was diagnoses missed abortion at 8wks 3days. went for a 2nd opinion, and baby measured 6wks2days. currently waiting for my Dr. call in respect of my hormones test. I really pray and wish to have a healthy baby till full term. Thanks for your words of encouragement.

You talk about how rare stillbirth is, but the truth is it happens. People just don't Falk about it at of fear of scares people so others sweep it under the rug with comments about how rare it is. Well my son passed away October 4th 2019. I never gas dmijedof done drugs, didnt drink during pregnancy. Had as low risk of pregnancy as possible. Everything was perfect. My son's movement never changed or became less. I went to sleep with a baby dancing around and woke up to a baby who was no longer with us. There was no reason for my Maverick's death. It is being called a medical mystery. 80% of the time fullterm stillbirth has no medical or scientific cause. It is like SIDS in the womb. We need to raise awareness and not just hope it doesn't happen to us or our friend/family. Since Maverick's loss I know of 8 other people who have suffered this horrific loss.

Hi Jess,
I am currently 10 weeks 6 days pregnant. I recently started having spotting. This is our first pregnancy and was done through In Vitro. I have been struggling for the last 2 days with the overwhelming fear due to the bleeding. Finding your post and reading your prayer and the scriptures listed has given me some courage and hope. Any prayers that you could offer would be a huge help, as I struggle to rely on God and let Him have my fear. Thanks for your post it was found at just the right moment.

First of all I want to say fantastic blog! I had a quick question in which I'd like
to ask if you do not mind. I was interested to find out how you center yourself
and clear your thoughts before writing. I've had trouble
clearing my mind in getting my thoughts out. I do take pleasure in writing but
it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be wasted just trying to figure out how to begin.
Any ideas or tips? Kudos!

In reply to <a href="https://www.gatherandgrow.co/10-scriptures-for-fighting-fear-in-pregnancy/#comment-3697">Jessica Wolstenholm</a>.

Hello, I want to guest thank you for following the leading of the Holy Spirit and creating this space. It is needed. I am between 5-6 weeks pregnant according to HCG testing done last week so maybe I’m 6-7 weeks. I have been trying to do everything I can to have a healthy baby. I am 40 years old and this is my firstborn pregnancy. I was married before and in an abusive relationship and never conceived because of male infertility. I got divorced and tried to maintain a healthy lifestyle and believed that eventually GOD would give me a child. I cried hundreds of days and nights and tried to replace worry as I got older with trust that GOD would bless me with children. I just found out I’m pregnant. It was unplanned and a surprise. I’m battling guilt as the man is not my husband although we are engaged and the high risk with age and well as commonality of issues with pregnancy that I will not name. I’m grateful that GOD is a loving faithful and forgiving GOD. I had some some light pink spotting last night. I remained calm, called my mother, and a nurse. I just choose to trust GOD as he is in control and the author and finisher of our faith and the creator of life. I awakened early morning and it was gone. 9 months is a long time to worry instead I choose to trust GOD and his faithfulness as he has NEVER let me down. I prayed scriptures against miscarriage, over baby’s development, and prayers that I will lead my child in the way of the Lord. Please keep us in prayer as I yield my body as a vessel to the most high to bring forth life so that my baby may fulfill the will of GOD for his or her life. Please pray my strength.”I let the peace of GOD rule and reign in my heart, mind, body, soul and spirit for me and my baby and I refuse to worry about anything. Thank you again. May you be richly blessed as this has helped me. And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. Psalm 27:13-14 New International Version (NIV)

13 I remain confident of this:
    I will see the goodness of the Lord
    in the land of the living.
14 Wait for the Lord;
    be strong and take heart
    and wait for the Lord.
