You were right in one assumption: 'You are not a member of the target group and DONT know'

I am married to a Ukrainian woman and have travelled there frequently. It is a country rife with racism such that I strongly ure ANY person of colour not to venture into Ukrainian society without a strong Ukrainian host.

Corruption is rampant, the police are largely the perpetrators of racist targetting (for corrupt benefit) and the society, as a whole, are unexposed and very narrow-minded in terms of their world view--Probably what Western Europe was like circa world war 2.

My advice, if you must go *to every non-Ukrainan) is be very careful, alertin your national embassy is probably a good thing (be sure to get a phone number of an official you can call if trouble comes).

The country has a long way to go before it can be termed 'user friendly'.

It's too bad you're not making any new posts though. But I guess when you're in the Bahamas, you don't really feel like sitting in front of a computer during your free time.

Nice blog man. I just spent about four and a half hours reading it from the beginning. (split time watching the Cavs/Magic game...). I am taking the FSOT in a few weeks and found you searching for info on the test. Thanks for sharing your insight and experiences.
