I'm a child of the 80's and this was the place to spend any change us neighborhood kids could find around the house. Don't be mislead by the name. The liquor is NOT the actual attraction of the store. It's really an original "Quick Stop". If you have ever stepped into this store, you are a true local. My bus stop was just down the street so it was a place to grab a quick meal. A reliable neighborhood store that embraces our Chamorro culture. I used to bake roquette cookies there as a kid! I now live in the Philippines and I crave for those homemade Chamorro goodies. A local pride and landmark.

Wow! Thanks for that Video Clip of the Military Buildup on Guam. That was Really Interesting! I am more worried for all of the Women and Young Girls on the Island when those Pervertive Marines and other Military land on the Island. How Dare They Rape and Harm all those Innocent Women and Young Girls in Okinawa! I Pray to God for their Souls.

Miget:
Finish that dissertation.
Everything you do is valuable, but this paper is also valuable.
Finish that albatross and get it over with!
It changed my life getting those initials --not for what it meant, but the doors it opened. (I was "ACTING" Dean of Students at UOG. No, the door didn't stay open for long, but I accomplished a few things before it got slammed shut! LOL)
Esta!

Oceania as Epeli Hauófa beautifully describes it...

"Oceania denotes a sea of islands with their inhabitants. The world of our ancestors was a large sea full of places to explore, to make their homes in, to breed generations of seafarers like themselves. People raised in this environment were at home with the sea."

"...we all know that only those who make the ocean their home, and love it, can really claim it as their home. Conquerors come, conquerors go, the ocean remains, mother only to her children." - Epeli Hau'ofa

What I love most about her music is that she delivers pure honesty. Plus, as a singer/songwriter, her music is all original without sacrificing catchy hooks. I'm definitely a fan, Tanya! Keep going!
