My family has their reunions in Jennings every year and of course a trip to Jennings is not complete without first going to Boudin King. I can not remember a year that we have not gone and brought back a cooler full for our clan in and around the Houston area. For my family there is none better than Boudin King. We will never go anywhere else!

I just got back from Vienna and went to their harvest festival. I tried 3 or 4 kinds of Sturm, and LOVED it. Very sweet, I didn’t taste any yeast. It certainly will help clear your intestines though if you have too much, just like wheat beer will.

I can recommend Café del’Europe at “Graben” neighbor to the “Haas-Haus” with a “Schanigarten”. For me the best coffee in town.

I agree 100% with Richard Rule and Scottie – the original PBR recipe was superior. While I enjoy the current recipe, I greatly prefer the old one.

I think that Schmidt’s reminds me of it, however it doesn’t have the same bite.
