The storyline is better, the relationship between Lawrence and Horo is more subtle and supple, and the character design and animation is far superior to the first season. I'm going to watch Bakemonogatari tonight. The show you don't mention, which I really REALLY like, is Needless. I absolutely love it! It's crazy and ridiculous!! Spice & Wolf is absolutely wonderful!! But I totally agree with Eden of the East, at least when it comes to the first episodes. Up to episode 6, I totally had this "I want more!" feeling after watching one episode of the series. It was only after those silly 'Johnny' episodes that my interest dropped. Eden of the East had its faults but the fact that I now think "I wish there was a new EotE episode to watch!" every Saturday morning proves that it was enjoyable overall. Hmm...I'm not watching many new shows at all at the moment. Real Life has been busy lately but I'm enjoying the feeling of having little pressure to watch things. Following lots of series simultaneously is pretty tiring so I'm enjoying a lazy kind of summer right now! I’m looking forward to Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 too.
