I have been asked to contact you regarding a new show called The Heart and Soul of Rock n Roll.
I was wondering if you would be interested in Promoting a brand new show that will be touring all over Europe in late spring early summer.It is aimed at the theatre market and we are looking to put on 3 shows in the UK.The 3 citys we are looking at are Brighton,London and Blackpool.Below is the promotional text for the show which is self explanitary.The tour manager for this project is Arjan Deelan who has been Robert Gordons manager for the past 5 years and also on board is Sue Moreno on backing vocals.

Elvis would have been 75 this year, and it’s a fitting tribute to the man and his music that his birthday is still being celebrated worldwide, more than 32 years after his death. The impact of The King’s music is the theme of a fantastic new production titled “The Heart & Soul of Rock ‘n’ Roll”, which features some of the original musicians who worked for him.

In the first part of the show, Dave B & his band will perform Presley’s early rock ‘n’ roll hits, as well as hits by artists who were hugely influenced by him, like Buddy Holly and Shakin’ Stevens. Dave B. has the look and the sound of the early rock & roll king, so put on your ‘Blue Suede Shoes’ for some ‘Good Rockin’ Tonight’ when he hits the stage! Dave B. is known from his numerous appearances on TV, radio and in theatres, and he was a finalist in the ‘One Night of Elvis’ Competition UK 2007.

The 2nd part of the show features the ‘Original Elvis Tribute’ band, which has a star-studded line-up that includes Duke Bardwell, who was Elvis’ bassplayer at 181 concerts as well as in the studio, as well as Michael Jarrett, who wrote several of the King’s favorite songs, including the haunting 1971 hit-single I’M LEAVIN’. Neither has ever been in the U.K. before, so this is quite a scoop. From this point onwards, it will become a rarity for people to see and meet musicians who actually worked with Elvis, which is what makes this production unique. Taking care of The King’s vocals is World Champion Elvis Sound-A-Like Robert Washington, whose high energy performance will bring you back to Las Vegas in the early 70s as he sings immortal hits like ‘Suspicious Minds’, ‘Burning Love’ and ‘Way Down’ with amazing authenticity.

This is the ONE show that you cannot afford to miss. “The Heart & Soul of Rock ‘n’ Roll” is a truly remarkable production featuring two live bands, that captures all the drama, energy and excitement of Elvis Presley in person. It’s a one-of-a-kind celebration of Elvis Aron Presley that features some of his finest music, as performed by those who were there when Elvis shook the world.
