I am still doing web projects on my own but our school does not really support the web as much as others do.Getting information, is like pulling teeth. It’s a little better this year. They asked me if they could give it to the new Web Design Teacher and I said yes, please. That was my way out. Really There was too much work to do, with not enough time, and no pay. Now the new guy is learning what a CMS is at the same time getting a feel for Joomla.

Mike, good to hear from you. I use Expression Engine to manage the content of TMTW; Zac Gordon was a strong influence in this decision and after all said and done I am very happy with the choice. I figured that if I didn’t like it, it was at least another platform under my belt that I could work with.

Why have you gone the way of the Dodo in regard to the web?

1st. I hear your an awesome teacher from my schools web master (taking your course) Hes asking me CSS questions based on you class.

2nd How do you do your new TMTW site? Did you use a CMS or did you hand code it all?

I love i-Google for a few reasons some of which were mentioned. Feeds is one reason in addition to some widgets, however my main use is for the financial aspect. I use Scottrade to invest a small amount of money outside of retirement funds and the one reason I use i-Google it to keep track of the securities I own as well as the securities I am interested in. I dont rely on this info but is sure in nice that I can get a good idea quickly without logging in to my brokerage account to get the streaming quotes. Since my browser is set to open to google I see an overview of my securities, weather, feeds, traffic, and email. I love it ! Since Jason is a fan of Netvibes I am forced to check it out since I am a groupie. An just kidding but I will check it out.
