I was at the show in Northampton at the Calvin. It was an awesome show and I would definitely go again if you two toured through the area again! I cannot wait for the album!

Hello, I came across you while listening to music on the net awhile ago, it wasn’t till I read about your contact with the Mayock family, that I though, or rather a thought surfaced.. I remembered that name Mayock, John Mayock was the man I vaguely knew, never met another Mayock, it was a name from an eon ago. Then I remembered a beautiful talented musician that was on his way to America, it must be you, congratulations on your success with something very close to your heart, your work is brilliant, I hope you are well. You kissed me twice and bought me a pint once in a way I’ve compared to other situations in my life long after I’d forgotten you and your name, actions really do speak louder than words. I hope you are well and am very happy I came across your work, wow the internet really is kind of magic. .

John, the concert is usually publicized locally, but I’m not sure if they’ve figured out the date for next year’s concert yet. I’d check around on the internet in the late spring.

Thanks for the heads up about your session. I’d love to stop in sometime for some tunes.

There are about 30 old time music players in our area. We didn’t hear about the String summit until the last minute last summer; too late to make plans. I’m not able to pull up a web site for them. Do you have one? Was this a one time thing?

I enjoy your playing on U-Tube. Our group has a weekly session on Saturday afternoons from 3pm-7pm at Shananegan’s a bar at 404 E. Main in Medford; usually 5-10 players. People traveling on I-5 used to stop in at our old venue but our new one hasn’t gotten around.

It was a tremendous joy to run sound for Anais, you and Rachel last year at Pickathon. I was fortunate to catch Anais’ show in Portland recently. The prospect of a Child ballads CD is wonderful. I can hardly wait. All the best.
