I recently saw a response to an old post that you wrote here:

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2882311/toll-charges-for-google-maps

while trying to calculate what to write on my expense report for charges for a recent business trip, i realized that it would be really awesome to build a toll calculator addition to google (because i have no idea what i was charged b/c i'm using ezpass - that's the short explanation about why i have no idea what i'm being charged).

I knew there was no way that I was the first person to think of such an idea. glad that your response showed up early in my googling.

It looks like you've tried to build something and found it to be quite the difficult undertaking.

I think that i would be willing to put in the data gathering and maintenance work to make such an addition to google maps (or any maps program for that matter) viable.

however, i'm not too sure where to start...

i'm not a programmer - but i understand the basics of programming.

Would you be willing to show me how you got started so that i can try my hand at this as well? I'm planning to take some programming classes on one of those free coding websites so that i can learn how to, at the very least, build a functional prototype of such an add-on.

We started a batch of blackberry wine in September. It turned out great. We took the redneck part a little further and sealed it in mason jars. Dang this stuff is good. Planted strawberries in the greenhouse house yesterday. I guess you know what we will be doing with them.

We don't use hydrometers around her but .99 is pretty good. Personally, I'd leave the lock on it and let it sit for few weeks in a cool place. The cloudiness will fall out of it eventually and you can rack it off. Much of the taste is coming from the cloudiness.

Wait it out.

10 days into my first batch of apple wine. The specific gravity is .990 and is sharp/bitter to taste. The batch is very cloudy and has very little fermentation going on, not bubbling much at all. I added 2 cups of sugar and put my airlock back on. Any ideas on what's going on and how i can correct this ?
