Vivam...

@Bruno

Thomson Speedtouch 546v6

@Pedro

I too have a Clix provided Huawei SmartAX MT 882 at my parents house that you can configure as pure bridge or PPPoE client+router. Fully unlocked using CLI or web interface.
The thing with this Thomson (supports multiple PVCs, hence IPTV, the Huawei doesn't) is that through the web interface you can either configure it as PPPoE client only, with 1 TV, 2 TVs or 3 TVs. No bridge mode configuration. I managed to do it via the CLI interface, which still has some locked commands like "atm", necessary if you want to change PVC configurations.
I was going to explain the reasons and motivations on the post with the howto. More on that tomorrow if time permits.

out of curiosity, who said you couldn't? I used a Clix-provided Huawei something modem in bridge mode for more than an year (the time I was client of their service).

I don't remember the entire process but reverting to factory defaults was one of the first steps.

And I could reproduce it at will.

Best regards,

It's a Chacon 54355
There's a link in the documentation(the Belgian version) but this particular model is not listed: http://www.chacon.be

The price was 25€ on Aki.

I’m trying to do a energy audit to my home and that will be an essential addition to my toolkit.

Could you post the name of the product, price and its specifications?

Thank you very much.
