I’ve got the Modern Mates very hard to acquire six drawer highboy chest.I am looking to sell it soon and collect in another direction.I’ve only seen two of these become available in the last 12 months. I did find a set at an estate sale not long ago but it was completely silverleafed in the 60’s.Stunning yes…but on the tacky side for my tastes…to each his own,huh?

Just found this reference to the Picturesque mosaic kits. I have 3 that my mother put together in the mid to late 60’s. One was a peacock with the second being a Egret. The third is if yellow roses. I love them and hang them with pride in my home.

I have been trying to find out more about gravel art; especially the history. I have a few old catalogs from kits I purchased on Ebay.

It brings back wonderful memories and I am starting to collect them and maybe make them soon.
