So now you've had a fair while to play this, how is it going? Does it live up to all the hype?

I played it for a couple of hours but dropped it when I got a bit sick and haven't been back to it. I got to a point where I had to go an see King Smugpants and his chief wizard and tell them something about a dragon. I dunno.

In that time I had two major crashes and the first dragon appeared as a grey model with no colour or texture. It's Bethesda though, all their games are a massive glitchfest. Don't get me started on Fallout 3...

I much prefer Bioware RPGs. I'm a massive Baldur's Gate/Neverwinter and Dragon Age fan and liked Mass Effect 2 even though I prefer the fantasy type games to space adventures.

I'm surprised you had trouble with the character generator on DAO, all my girls were very cute. The guys looked like 'generic male' because I didn't spend much time on them. I went with a Nord girl on Skyrim too...
