I'm actually the opposite. Everyone thinks I'm mad at them. For me I just noticed that as I got older I have gotten a bit more distant, It's nothing personal. I'm just focused on my goals, and sometimes that means falling back from everyone. I am trying to make sure I do at least reach out by way of tex/call at least once a week. Hey, I'm a work in progress...

I think we really underestimate ourselves and are fearful about speaking Truth and Speaking the Gospel in America and even around the world. We are by nature people pleasers and we always back down when a situation comes up where we can speak Truth but we decide that it could hurt someones feelings. We really need to get over that because the Truth is a sword and it hurts sometimes. But with the state of that person potentially being an unbeliever, how can we justify not telling them Truth or the Gospel when they could be in eternal torment for not having at least one opportunity to hear about Christ. Luke 21:13-15 says "This will be your opportunity to bear witness. Settle it therefore in your minds not to meditate beforehand how to answer, for I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which none of your adversaries will be able to withstand or contradict." Praise the Lord that we have the Holy Spirit to guide us and we need not be afraid! Then with this truth being spoken, the light shines from us as we follow God and his ways and are tuned in with the Holy Spirit. This is not because it will be easy or comfortable, its For God's Glory.

HI Leigh, Great to meet you here. I found you via BlogFrog. I too love the Lord. I believe our thoughts have a powerful impact on us as you illustrated with how you start thinking someone doesn't like you any more. Great analogy to wondering what the Lord might think when we leave Him out of our lives. Blessings, Amy

Leigh, you are always so passionate and full of joy and that fire is contagious. :) I related so much to what you were saying about speaking to live audiences feeling like "breathing" to you and when you're not doing it, it feels like you've lost your breath. Loved the scripture you shared. Thanks, as always a great video. :)

Yes, we need to be able to ask God "why". Moses and Abraham and Jacob... all had those intimate confrontations with God and so should we. The bottom line for all of us is that Gods' plan and purpose might be perfected in us. When the disciples asked why the blind man was born blind, Jesus had an interesting answer.

John 9:2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?
3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

"That the works of God should be manifest in him", is still Gods' plan for us. The question is then, what should our response be to the things that come our way? Some things are for us to endure ( tribulation worketh patience ), some things are for us to overcome (they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death ) Some things are for us to change. The secret to being fruitful is in knowing the difference and acting accordingly.
