All businesses are about RELATIONSHIPS, of pursuing the PROFIT by the very end, which keeps businesses going!
The best demonstration would be using an equation as below:

Notice: The PROFIT that connects to BOTH party A and party B!

Hi Damian:

I think your resonses were well put, I have been trying for several years to accomplish something on the internet, I think the e-mails you were referring to, were not really begging you or me . Or anyone for free mentoring. I think the e-mails in question were more about there own failures with internet marketing, I think in a lot of ways , this whole internet make money thing is a vicious circle. I myself have been buried knee deep in this circle many a times. only to come up empty handed. The problem is everyone who trys this is looking and hoping for the brass ring, and if they don’t find it after once around the merry go round, they as well as myself , blame the internet marketer, who sold them the next best thing. I realize in one of those “senior monents” (55years old) that it is not there fault but rather our own, for let it happen. After all that’s what its all about making money. Right!!! I have taken a step back and reevaluated my position on this and am starting again for the 1900th time, this time working a lot slower , maybe this will be the charmer. If not then I will try again. May you and everyone out there have a blessed Day !!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey,
I am starting to read most of your e-mails now ! Mostly because you come across as down to earth and honest! There really is alot BS out there and alot of us have been sucked in to bogus ideas! I don’t even say scammed anymore cause I don’t now what it means! There are people out there that can make you believe anything can happen with words. I think seeing you makes you a little more real. Your doing a great job!! Could be that baby face!!!

Hi Damien,

Appreciate your comments on the video today and agree with what you said. You don’t get any thing for nothing. Thanks for reminding me because I think I tried to start building a business with short cutting things. Now I realize it doesn’t work that way and without the foundation it will crumble and not stand. (Luke 6:49a But he that hearth and doeth not is like a man that without a foundation built a house,…).

Bravo Damien,

Everything you said is so true. I’ve had plenty of failures at this game and gotten frustrated to the point of not even sitting down at my computer for a month or two. But then I get my ATTITUDE and MINDSET back into the right place and somehow become even more determined to persist against all obstacles. I intend to win or die trying.

No one owes me anything in this life. My situation in life today is the direct result of MY decisions and My actions (or lack of), and no one elses.

I’ve made some fun money marketing but never anything to brag about and the main reasons are:

- allowing info overload to control me
- Lack of focus because of info overload (my fault)
- not making a clear a-z plan of action
- not following through on the plans I do make
- not being willing to invest in my success for fear of failing
- and I think the most important one, relating to info overload
is that I used to fill up my hard drive with gigs of info but I didn’t spend enough time Educating myself, actually reading those ebooks multiple times until it’s stuck in my brain. I’ve been doing that for the last few months and it’s amazing how my knowledge base seems to be growing exponentially and ideas are constantly popping into my head.

All of the above are MY FAULT, and no one elses. No one is going to hand me or you free money and yet that is what so many expect. “Give me a free website and free tools and tell me where to advertise it for free and write me the ads and tell me how often to log in and count my money.” That is the mindset of so many people out there. They are looking for a free ride. So listen up people:

There is no such thing as a Free Lunch. That’s what my high school chemistry teacher used to tell us. It takes WORK! and TIME. But unlike a job, this work and time will compound like interest on a bank account and the time and work you put in now will still be paying you growing dividends 2,5,10 years from now.

You are the master of your present and your future, and you need to pound that into your brain. You can either make life happen, or let life happen to you. Think about it!

Hi Damian and Happy Belated Birthday
I agree with everything you stated . Maybe though everyone starting out in any internet business might understand more and have no complaints if they looked at it like this . If you love to cook and you decide you want to be a chef you can’t just go in the kitchen and throw a t.v. dinner in the oven and call yourself a chef . You need to go to culinary school . There is no free college anywhere to provide training for becoming a chef or ANY career choice and the same thing goes for the internet training thats needed . If you can’t afford one training there is always others that train for less even if its not full training its still a start to make enough money to invest in further training . There are tons of free advertising methods that work well enough to purchase further training it just takes more time , patience and focus on the work . See your new business venture as a job at first . You actually need to work to grow your job into an actual business . Even though your self employed , your purchasers are your real BOSS not you . You need to understand what your purchasers want and give them what they want or need to keep them remaining your boss . Its a give -give relationship . You give to them (satisfyingly) and they will give to you . That is how your job grows into a business , and when your big enough that you need help (employees) , then you can label yourself a BOSS . People that turn to the internet for a business , mainly those that lost their jobs , need to think about this first before searching and finding anything fast . This takes more time than you realize finding the right fit business for you and then the setting up and the learning process , this isn’t fast money to pay a just received bill . I feel for the people who lose their jobs daily in the U.S. but just realize , sink it in , the net won’t help any easier or faster than any offline business . Stay away from the “gurus” that pitch quick overnight sensations , they just suck your wallet empty and snap your credit cards in half . Pay more attention to the businessperson who is not pitching everything at you , Damian for instance , and there are a small few others out there . You don’t have to purchase every single e-mail that you receive , just the information you realize you need to fit into your business . I tell all this because I had started out the wrong way as well . I am nothing more than a simple man on a small disability monthly check with little credit , due to a bankruptcy from 2 brick and mortar businesses in the past, starting out the second half of my life at 45 . I do have more time than money to make my business grow so I can make my own paycheck instead of relying on my state for help . I am not looking to purchase all the fantasies like “gurus” preach to you that you can have by buying into their hype , I can’t physically do much with them anyway . I do want though to have my dream home built in the future and have a stable retirement life . So for those looking , remember , look at an opportunity first very closely before jumping into it , see if its interesting first , if you have enough time to work it until it works itself , go with the cheaper training first until you can invest in further training , stop complaining about not affording to the Damians that offer their support, because when the time comes you can afford they might not want to help you then , he started as well from the bottom of the barrell like everyone else , work it well and mostly be PATIENT .Oh yes and one last thing , when frustrated or whatever turn off your pc and take a breather . Hi Damian,

I do agree with you about the entitlement mentality, BUT I have been strapped for cash ( almost ended up homeless because of circumstances) and had to start all over again with no money to spare- it wasn’t a matter of not going to WalMart an extra trip a month- I simply did not have the money.

There are a few free ar programs like Parabots, Infinite Responder, and PHP List, which all need to be installed on your hosting acct. I had also used a free service which does place an add- but the ad is for their service and I have received commissions from it ^.^ With small lists the delivery rates seem to be excellent, but I do agree that paying for a service is best when people can afford it.

As far as the person who wrote that 3rd email- whatever job we have in life, we trained ourselves, learned from others or went to school for it. So Training is an investment not paying to be in business. And Yes- you do pay to be in business, you pay for your equipment, Internet connection, hosting, domains, etc.it’s called expenses.
