I started reading your posts on myspace way back in the day, right when i was embarking on my own spiritual journey, doing meditation, clairvoyant readings and healings, and diving into many the metaphysical books. i didn't always read every post but the ones i did validated the path i was on, and i agreed with a lot you said. now its 7 years later…or 8, i forget, from when i started and just now, after i just up and left the life i had known for 28years…i'm just now coming to realize much of the same thing, that many of my social constructs were built around preserving this inner pain. built around fear. it is exhausting. i've spent the last 2 months in a wonderful place where ( which i think i brought on for myself) where all my old offerings of giving, healing, and advice and readings and what not, have been for the most part turned down. There's the impulse to feel rejected when the shell you've been using to support your ego is no longer supported. but it has turned into a blessing.
also these past 2 months i've endeavored in…on? an art project… a book, symbolizing the old social machinations, what i think about myself, how i relate to others… it is now a couple days from completion, so now i look to showing it in this community. sharing some of my deeper dark 'secrets', those things hidden away, the embarassments, etc…also i have words to speak, a poem of sorts to go along with it. there is definitely some trepidation, on airing these thoughts and feelings….but i think maybe this is how we free ourselves from the hold they have on us. by being transparent, open and honest, completely…with ourselves first and then with others…..anyways….those are my experiences with the subject…. your post also triggered in me that maybe…. its time for me to start sharing my experience….so i guess you can take that or leave it, welcome back ;D
