Congrats on your finish!! What a way to push through some rough spots and run strong to the end. I am sure it was a disappointment to not break 18hrs but as you say getting the finish and being so close beats a DNF hands down. Thanks for sharing all the highs and lows. Hope recovery is going well.

Shelley,

I too have wondered about the structures built in what is commonly called Powell's Fort (where mudhole gap trail meets the massanutten trail). It was built by the Conservation Corps in the 30s and is one of many facilities built in the Fort Valley area at that time. It was built to accommodate underprivileged children. You can read more about it at: http://www.nps.gov/history/history/online_books/ccc/ccc/chap13.htm Here is also some very interesting information about why it is called Powell's Fort and Powell's Mountain: http://www.olddominionrides.org/articles/June06EN.pdf

I have spent a ton of days running in the Massanuttens, especially the Signal Knob area. If you like Rocks this is the place to run. Mudhole Gap is a gem that I really enjoy running.

Hello - just stumbled on here doing research about the run I did yesterday...I ran 20 up to Woodstock tower on those same trails, mudhole etc, & joining fire roads with Massanutten. Tough run but glorious day! I was trying to find out info about that abandoned camp there at the intersection of the trails (where mud hole comes out). Regardless, great blog, glad I found it, I will read more - we share the same taste in podcasts too
....thanks!

As Aion's North American Closed Beta ends, the lineage 2 adena question remains will it fare better than all other MMO games that are popular in Korea but are rejected in the western hemisphere. For me the issue of Korean Massive Multiplayer Online games is a very interesting one. While they tend to receive insane popularity in their homeland, when they come to lineage 2 adena the west they get bashed, chewed and spit out on the garbage pile of fails. To some the reasons are pretty obvious but are they really?

People have all sorts of problems with Korean games and to be honest for some of them I have to lineage 2 adena coincide, on others to a less degree. First off, their games get little respect because they are not made in the west, which seems like a grotesque thing but sadly-that is the truth.

Specifically, im looking to display meshes and textures that are in cgf format right now. If cgf is not compatible with any 3d modeling plugin please provide info on converting cgf to an applicable format (if that info is available).

________________
unlock iphone 3gs
