Thanks so much for your thoughtful eonmcmt. You make so many good points. I feel for your sister so many people seem to be in her shoes these days. The purest form of the artist or creator is still sullied by the business of dealing with day to day economics. This is so true. I feel this often, as I am forced to take on writing projects just to pay the bills, or to try to promote my own work in order to make a living. Thanks again for your eonmcmt. Much to think about.

Something hit me as I was reading otghurh this that hadn't before. The context of who Jesus was talking to when he was telling people to repent. He was in Israel talking to Jewish people, who for the most part are fairly religious. They are after all God's chosen people. So he is talking to religious people, telling them to repent.Throughout his ministry, Jesus seems to speak out against the religious people the most. He goes so far as to call them a brood of vipers and whitewashed tombs.Jesus doesn't call us to be religious. He calls us to repent and join him in the kingdom of heaven, which I would agree with you is something in the here and now. In the Lord's prayer, he specifically prays thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. The Kingdom of heaven is here and now in the hearts of those who repent and truly seek after him and his will.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts friend... I liked this look into your head and heart. We have been missing Thailand too, and we were only there for 3 and 1/2 months! Glad you will be home for a bit though - can't wait to see you and give you a hug. If I cook dinner for you will that ease your pain? ;)

i like to play this game. i think you should play it too. instead of the "what if" game, its the "God top this" game. basically you dream up the biggest, grandest, wildest dreams possible. then you stand on ephesians 3:20 and dare God to top your imagination. i haven't lived very long yet, but He's topped every one of mine so far.

Oh the What ifs....

Perhaps if you had not went on the world race - we wouldn't be closer. I wouldn't have learned that you don't listen to me. I didn't want you to go on the world race and you did anyay. This lead to a more meaningful relationship with you, more than jokes.

Together - we have both discovered that money is not a necessity in life. (however, the bill collectors may think differently).

I don't know how many friends you want - but you have tons. I am willing to bet some of those friends are from the world race, and a lot of them you have close friendships with.

Marriage, although fun, is challenging. Save that for when you are ready. God will tell you when this is. However, in the meantime, I have two children that if you need time with them - let me know. I can also arrange for my husband to spend time with you and you can see what marriage is all about from his prospective. LOL!

If you would have stayed in Ohio - something in your life would be missing. It would tear you apart.

Be proud of who you are. I am.
