Links to squidoo profiles are followed in the comments, links IN comments are not followed.

So, for SEO purposes getting a comment approved on a high profile lens does help a bit in getting your profile noticed by google.

The ‘my lenses’ and ‘featured lenses’ modules are still coded in a way that’s invisible to search engines. Don’t expect that to change: make sure you link to related lenses in link list modules or text modules.

I am so glad to have come across this review. I set up an account with Wizzley last week and am still trying to get my first page up. Not that the system is difficult, mind you. I just was frustrated because when preparing my intro section, somehow a second Wizzley (wizzle) was created and now I have two by the same name???

I also wanted to know specifics about the program and your review has provided that information. I actually think this review has given me the impetus to get going. I love to write and I think that Wizzley might be right for my needs.

This sounds like a very difficult situation to be in. Google don’t exactly have a very straight forward grievance procedure for when you get booted from AdSense. I’ve seen a friend get booted for click fraud (naughty boy) but he changed his IP and his wife was able to get an account again.

eBay and Amazon have pretty good affiliate programmes but they’re certainly not as broad as AdSense!

What a great, very important info about the changes! I have a question– I can see that links on Comments on Squidoo are dofollow. Do these links help the lens which they are linked to in Google?

I do book reviews on my blog ‘www.greatspiritualbooks.com’ which ranks rather well in search engines. However, reviews are not guaranteed: I have to actually think the book is worth recommending to my readers. Do get in touch.
