Hey, Greg. Thanks (I think) for alerting me to these Microsoft ads. The barf ad was gross and disgusting and I cannot believe that someone hasn't lost their job over it. The Seinfeld-Gates ad was far off the mark in a surreal, head-scratching sort of way. Very, very odd.

Keep up the good work!

There's a lot to take in here and I have only just begun. But the Medium is so the message. Having come from a school of study that sees that man from Winnipeg as almost their patron saint. That line of thinking spreads to almost anything decades after his death. Like Web networking applications.

What a piece of work! UNLV all the way around is such a joke. At least they won't have Jim Rogers to kick around any more. Don't get me started on that guy . . . Bonnie's hubby may have been stripped of his presidential duties, but he is still being paid well over $200K a year! You wouldn't believe what they pay people at UNLV. The ones I have had contact with are completely out of touch with reality. It would all be so funny, if it weren't so sad.

Christ, you're not kidding.

I have to admit, I couldn't plow through all 5 pages of her drivel. Points for the ex-first-lady to ponder, which she could have avoided by reading this very post:

a) Your meal ticket got fired. It's over;
b) If you're going to write a letter to a journalist, especially a musteline one like Jon Ralston, expect that we'll ALL be reading it soon enough;
c) This reads like a letter to a sympathetic girlfriend. Are you looking for Ralston's commisseration?
d) See a). It's OVER.

Huge unintentional comedy in the final line of her email:
"It's so sad when someone doesn't learn from past experiences."

How can you say that? Think about what a travesty it would be if impressionable kids were allowed to see someone in a commercial drinking beer, rather than just holding it.

And if you could drop swear words on over-the-air broadcast networks, instead of just on cable? That'd be a worse crime than genocide.
