I love it – and I am totally with you. When the older kids were little, I know I was harsher – now that they are are flying the nest, I am such a softie. They are young for such a short time, and since on all the really big things – we do hold the line and insist on them doing their best, i don’t see the harm in a day off now and again…

I just took my own advice and assigned 10 minute tidies to the kids. Vacuuming DONE! Kid’s bathroom DONE! Dishes unloaded-DONE!
