I went for the first time this year on the Saturday and thought it was much better than I was expecting it to be. In fact, I think just one day wasn't enough as there was almost TOO much going on!

Was great to be able to freely wander around the paddock and garages, less enjoyable having to quickly side step the hordes of people tearing up and down the paddock on their quad bikes or mini-motorbikes - an accident in the making?!!

But that aside, I enjoyed it, and dare I say it, liked the music that was on. Well, I did leave as soon as Rick Parfitt Jnr. left the stage!

I'd be surprised if Raikkonen ever wins a rally, save perhaps if all the really big players end up failing to finish a particular event (far from impossible, there's probably only four or five *really* quick guys in quick cars at the average WRC event these days).

As to Schumacher's inability to outpace Rosberg - I wonder if its just possible this is because Rosberg is quicker than he's been given credit for. Despite what you say, I think he was usually a good bit quicker than Nakajima last year - not merely 'fractionally faster'. He pretty much did for Alex Wurz's racing career before that, and Wurz didn't look too bad in his Benetton days.

I hadn't heard the Buemi/Red Bull rumour before. If it does happen, it only goes to show that Marko really has no business running a driver development programme.

This week's Motorsport News reports that an inquiry is well under way into last weekend's incident at Brands Hatch.

Could mean that the GP circuit becomes off limits to spectators because due to economical reasons, MSV won't want to install debris fencing round the entire circuit. Especially the GP portion that only plays host to nine races per year.
